Quick tips for teaching

  • Short, unambiguous questions work best — one key point per question.
  • Use polls to activate your audience (check prior knowledge, gauge progress, spark discussion).
  • Create the room once per course and reuse it for the whole semester — the code stays the same.
  • Keep the QR code visible at all times so latecomers can join too.
  • Before-and-after questions make learning effects visible.
  • Word cloud, mind map and four-field matrix are well suited for collecting ideas. With mind map and four-field matrix, a subsequent rating phase gives you a prioritisation right away.
  • For follow-up at home: a self-check with a permanent link, e.g. linked in your LMS.
